Thermal CVD system for synthesizing carbon microcoil [MPCVD-CMC]

Purpose: This is a special CVD system for synthesizing carbon microcoil (CMC) materials with a horizontal quartz tube furnace (diameter = 70 mm) .
Features:    
・Liquid-catalyst providing unit is equipped for synthesizing high-purity CMC.
・Ethanol providing unit is equipped for easily synthesizing CMC.
・3 lines of precise mass- flow gas controllers (Ar, H2, C2H2) are equipped.
・Deodorization equipment is equipped for decomposition of residual stinky gases.

High-purity carbon microcoil can be synthesized by using acetylene gas combined with two kinds of catalysts (liquid and solid). Low cost carbon nanocoil can be synthesized by using ethanol and Fe powder catalyst.
CMC is known as a good radio wave absorbent, particularly at higher frequencies (1GHz-100GHz). The stealth effect of the electromagnetic waves is due to its spiral coil shape, which is just equivalent to a inductance coil.
CMC can also be used as a high-frequency induction heater material, because it absorb high-frequency induction electromagnetic waves with a high efficiency.
